Nanny and Governess Recruitment Across Switzerland
Home Staff Europe provides domestic staff recruitment services across European countries, including Switzerland.
Our core specialisation is Filipino domestic staff already living in EU countries and English-speaking domestic staff across Europe.

Our experienced recruiters working with Swiss clients provide recruitment services for families living in key regions of Switzerland, including Geneva, Zurich, Zug, Lausanne, and other areas where private families require qualified nannies and governesses. We can offer carefully selected English-speaking and Filipino candidates who are already based in Switzerland, as well as candidates who are ready to relocate from other European countries for the right position.

Although Switzerland is not part of the European Union, Home Staff Europe also works with clients in the Swiss market and provides tailored recruitment solutions for private households across the country.

We offer a wide selection of candidates with different levels of experience and professional backgrounds. We handle both standard and highly specific requests and work successfully with demanding private clients who expect a high level of service, careful selection, and a personalised approach.
Thorough Candidate Screening

Our nanny database is built proactively, before a specific family request is received.
Each candidate undergoes a careful pre-screening process before being included in our selection. This may include testing in child psychology, pedagogy, adaptation, and the principles of working within a private household, as well as an interview with one of our recruiters, an assessment of personal qualities, professional motivation, document verification, and a review of previous work history.

Nanny Recruitment Process in Switzerland
Request Review and Candidate Search
We begin by carefully discussing your requirements, expectations, household needs, schedule, and the profile of the nanny you are looking for.

Once the key details of the request have been agreed, a service agreement is signed between the client and the agency. After the agreement is signed, we begin the recruitment process using our own candidate network and internal database.

When selecting candidates, we take into account key criteria such as:
1. relevant education and professional background;
2. previous childcare experience;
3. knowledge of child development methods and educational approaches;
4. positive references;
5. additional professional training and courses;
6. understanding of child psychology and pedagogy;
7. language skills, where required for the role.
Selection and Interview Process
At the first stage, we send you a selection of candidate profiles together with CVs and, where available, video introductions.

You review the candidates and choose those you would like to meet. We then arrange online interviews at a convenient time and fully coordinate the process.

After speaking with the candidates, you decide who is best suited to your family. Where necessary, we may carry out additional checks or further evaluation before moving to the next stage.

The selected candidate is then invited to proceed to the final stage of the recruitment process, which may include an in-person meeting and a trial period. If the trial period is successfully completed and both sides are satisfied, the candidate starts permanent work with the family.

The agency fee is paid after the selected candidate has successfully completed the trial period and begins permanent employment.
Start of Employment and Guarantee Support
Once the candidate starts working with the family, the employment agreement is concluded directly between the employer and the employee, where applicable and where the family provides such an arrangement.

Our work with the client does not end once the candidate starts. If, after the placement, the selected employee is not the right fit for any reason or the cooperation cannot continue, we provide a replacement following the same recruitment process as at the initial stage.

The number of replacements is unlimited within the guarantee period. The client may choose the guarantee period from several available options.
